A fun step up routine straight out of a Britney Spears music video. We couldn't quite figure out how to fit in the spinning chairs, but step ups seemed challenging enough. A few safety tips! Make sure your chair is secure and won't tip over or slide out from underneath you. Set it up next to a wall or put a yoga mat underneath it to keep it from sliding. A bench stair step or ottoman will also work for this routine.
Level One: Focus on completing as many step ups as you can at your own pace during the verses. If you feel like trying box jumps by the end of the month, give it a go! Otherwise we have provided an alternative upper body transition for the instrumental interludes.
Level Two: Focus on increasing reps while keeping form, but don't get cocky. You are holding extra weight after all and stepping up onto a chair! If you try to go to fast, there is a risk of falling. During the instrumental interlude if you feel up to it, try as many box jumps as you can until you burn out. Or you can follow the level one modification.
